Howard talks about Tennessee’s nonconference record:

“Now, Tennessee is 10-6, which is not necessarily a record despite the difficult nonconference schedule that you’re looking for out of a team with the aspirations that Tennessee always has. A tough one is coming up against Mississippi State. Mississippi State, of course, Rickea Jackson’s former team. Jackson has just turned into an absolute monster for this team. Jackson is shooting around 60% from the field 75% over her last two games and earned SEC Player of the Week for the first time, just kind of a crazy stat in itself, given what kind of a player she was at Mississippi State.”

Kellie Harper talks about a few players being out and who will step up in their absence:

“I think because Marta Suárez plays multiple positions and affects multiple players. Justine Pissott is one of those as she’s continuing to grow and obviously, she’s been a really good threat for us on the offensive and bringing good size on the defensive end. So I’m excited about where she’s at. I think Justin will see some of those minutes. Also, I think Jillian Hollingshead will also because Marta played a little bit at the four-slot. And so now those minutes will be distributed. So you have Sara Puckett and Jillian and then even Jasmine Franklin to a certain extent. So I think we have players that have good experience and that have had good production that just step into that role.”
