The Connecticut Sun advanced to the second round of the 2020 WNBA Playoffs with a 94-81 victory over the Chicago Sky on Tuesday night. In the win, Alyssa Thomas exploded for 26 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists while DeWanna Bonner had her ninth career playoff double-double with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists. Chicago’s top scorer in the loss was Allie Quigley with 19 points.
The Sun will face either the Minnesota Lynx or the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday in another single-elimination game.
