Heavren opens the show by recapping a conversation she had with A-10 commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade. Heavren asks McGlade what she thinks is the state of the conference, specifically in women’s basketball. “I think the state of the league is really good right now,” McGlade says. “I think we’re coming off a really phenomenal year last year, we were on the cusp of multiple teams into the NCAA [Tournament] … I’m feeling good about it.”

Later on, Heavren talks to Davidson head coach Gayle Fulks and senior guard Issy Morgan. Heavren asks Fulks and Morgan where they think the team has improved the most. “I think we’ve gotten better overall,” Fulks says. “Each individual player has gotten a little bit better. As we head into next season, we feel like we have the blueprint, now we just have to get healthy and get back after it.”
