Hey hoops fans!

We know this season especially is ever-changing and as your resident BIG EAST specialist, I thought I’d bring you a weekly digest so you can keep up with all-basketball all the time BIG EAST Conference. I’ll bring you the top news, upcoming matchups, and the talk around the BE Eleven.

Where to Watch the BIG EAST

The conference announced a one-year deal with FloSports to become the digital home of BIG EAST women’s basketball. According to the agreement, FloSports will stream all BEleven women’s basketball games that stream on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) presented by SoFino. FloSports will also carry BIG EAST original content such as “Fast Break”, the Conference’s weekly women’s basketball features show.

“The BIG EAST Digital Network has provided unparalleled digital coverage of our women’s basketball programs over the last six years, and our agreement with FloSports will offer even wider distribution of our games and significant additional promotion of our student-athletes and coaches,” said BIG EAST Commissioner Val Ackerman.

I recently took a look into the history of FloSports because of their WCHA women’s hockey streaming service. Their mission is in step with why The IX Newsletter and The Next do what we do.

“We take great pride in partnering with the BIG EAST and welcome the opportunity to bring elite collegiate women’s basketball to a global audience and grow this sport,” says Mark Floreani, CEO and Co-Founder, FloSports.

The BIG EAST can also be viewed on FOX Sports, which traditionally includes 15 regular season games and BIG EAST Tournament. CBS Sports Network airs two regular-season BIG EAST contests annually, and this year SNY will air UConn women’s basketball games.

SNY announced it will air “up to 18 UConn women’s basketball games” this season. Coverage begins at 12:30 p.m ahead of the UConn opener against UMass Lowell.
