Maya Caldwell talks about her expectations coming into the year:
“Exceeded most definitely; I was not expecting my first WNBA season to look like this. So far, I am on my second dream. And it’s definitely something that I’m trying to take for granted. Being in and out of Atlanta. At first, it seemed wasn’t part of the plan to make the team be on the team consistently throughout the season but still be able to come back whenever they call and help out and be the best I can be.”

Maya Caldwell talks about the support her family provides her throughout the ups and downs of her WNBA season:
“My family has kept me sane throughout this process. They support me and love me. But they also pushed me and that I needed to do more. And when I need to do less and they are very straightforward, very blunt, but very caring parents as they should be. They really carried me throughout this journey.”
