Arie gets in-depth about Teaira McCowan not getting enough minutes and the reason why:
“Okay, so we actually talked about this with coach the other day after the Washington game. The biggest deal is that she has not had any practice time. I believe she’s only had one practice with the team since arriving. Coach Johnson told us, that she will get more time this week, when they play against the Sun back to back. But she hasn’t had much time to get in there and really get into a good flow. You know, basically they’re putting her in for defensive reasons, when they get behind a little bit.”
Arie speaks on the different lineups that are most effective for Dallas:
“I believe like the other night with Washington, Awak Kuier was playing that four position kind of rotating. And I believe between her, Satou Sabally and even Isabelle Harrison getting in there, playing off of Teaira McCowan will probably see that a lot, especially when they want to go big, when they need to go defensive. And if they’re struggling offensively to try and get back in the game.”
