Plus, discussion about Em Engstler‘s ceiling, next steps for Kelsey Mitchell and NaLyssa Smith, and whether there’s anyone in the 2023 draft who might fit in with a desire to build around a defensive monster at the five.

Christie talked with Howard about the work of Lin Dunn to craft a future-facing Fever roster:
“You know, you look back at what [Fever general manager Lin Dunn] did last year in the draft, and I just think it’s a remarkable thing; it’s a very hard thing to get right. And I think it’s fair to argue that she got, she went five-for-five, in terms of players who were able to contribute. Now, this was a roster where everyone was gonna play, you know, you’re gonna get to see them.
