“Clearly we aren’t playing well, that can that be an understatement. Maybe we’ve got some players that are better players than what we’ve seen. And so your only choices as coaches is to find a way to help. And so what I’m thinking is, we gotta go watch video, we gotta go. Okay. What can we give them that can help them and stick with it? Right. 36 game season? Probably a little rougher than what we thought it would be offensively. So we got to figure it out.”
Coach Reeve talks about whether the team is sticking to the plan or making necessary changes:
“As we share with them, I sure would like for them to try to do what they’re being asked to do before we go and change anything because it’s hard to know. And when we’re together and we’re practicing and we’re prepping. And they’re saying all the right things. And frankly, doing all the right things. And then we get into the game and it’s not happening.
And just basic, some really basic things. And I know, I just want to make sure that we’re playing with a pace and with a passion that we’re seeing, that’s only part of the game.”
