Maddy Siegrist talks about her low turnover percentage and how she takes care of the ball well:
“I think just knowing the importance of having the basketball and possessions, usually the team with the most possessions is going to win the game. That’s why we want to rebound the ball so well because you give yourself extra possessions.
I think ourselves in such chaotic situations, in practice coach does a great job of giving us an end-to-game situation. That’s where you really got to take care of the ball the best and just know that you’ve already been there and you got to instill the confidence in the younger kids.”

Maddy Siegrist talks about her mindset this senior year:
“I think you always want to keep raising the bar, you can always just make it harder, you want more, and coach has done a great job challenging me, challenges me every day in practice. And I think that gets you ready. And you gotta take it one day at a time because obviously last year I was set back from an injury for the first eight games just knowing how important it is every day.”
