Siegrist explains what she’s learned from seeing her college program from the perspective of a staff member:
“As a player, you’re worried about practice, getting better [and] games. That’s really it. You don’t have to think about anything else. You don’t think about food orders; you don’t think about, are the lights gonna be on in the gym? … Seeing everybody else’s role is cool, and being able to be an ambassador to the program with donors. And we’ve been generating so much support and buzz on campus, so just to be a part of that. And then kind of the coaching aspect: A lot of these players I’ve played with, and now you could share your knowledge in a different way, which is really, really cool.”

Siegrist also shares her reaction to the news that both Satou Sabally and Kalani Brown are returning to the Wings for 2024:
“There’s so many exciting things that have happened this month. But with Sa coming back, it’s great. And then Kalani, I’m so happy. Those are two great teammates, and I think we’re just going to build on the success we’ve had in the past. So just to have so much success in a rookie season as a team, I can’t wait for Year 2.”
