On today’s episode of Locked on Women’s Basketball, our Dallas Wings beat reporter Arie Graham shares how Burton can play an important role in the young team’s guard rotation.
“When Moriah [Jefferson] was in the lineup she just played very limited minutes. So you’re going to need that back-up with Ty Harris and Veronica Burton just in case, you know, she gets injured or her minutes need to be limited more. Ty Harris can be used more, she was kind of limited on the bench. But it [will] also give Burton the chance to learn and grow behind those veteran players.”
Arie also shares how Teaira McCowan, whom the Wings aquired from the Indiana Fever this offseason, will team up with Charli Collier to create a formindable frontcourt presence for the Wings. Check out today’s podcast for more on how the Wings roster is shaping up this season.
